Christoph Sander studied Philosophy in Freiburg and Berlin, receiving his PhD in History of Science at the Institute of History and Philosophy of Science, Technology, and Literature at Technische Universität Berlin, in 2019. Prior to his position at the DHI Rome, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the field of History of Science at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin (2022–2023), and of Art History at the Bibliotheca Hertziana, Rome (2019–2022).
