Research position at the Italian-German Historical Institute (3-year fellowship)

The Italian-German Historical Institute (ISIG) offers a 3-year fellowship. The central task of the candidate is to develop a new and innovative research project in line with programmes of the Fondazione Bruno Kessler and to build up a close collaboration with the various projects at the Institute carried out at present.
For a long time, the main areas of research at ISIG were legal and constitutional history, confessionalisation and social discipline, forms of devotion and the sacred, and last but not least socio-political history and relations between Italy and Germany. More recently, the research agenda of the Institute has been widened by studies on media and communication on the one hand and projects of digital history and public history on the other hand.
Application Deadline: 13 January 2021.
