The research project "Forschungsdateninfrastruktur Historische Quellen" (HisQu), funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) within the e-research programms for an initial period of three years, aims to develop new methods and an innovative digital infrastructure for the semantic indexing of historical sources. Working in collaboration with renowned partner institutions, a platform will be created that will enable historical research processes to be digitally supported, traceable and reproducible. As part of this project, the existing data infrastructure of the "Repertorium Germanicum" (RG) will be further developed and supplemented by the services created in HisQu. The RG is a basic research project of DHI Rom which, among other things, deals with the digital indexing and analysis of sources on the history of the medieval church.
