Spring School "Schlaglichter der italienischen Geschichte im Mittelalter" (24–27 February 2025)

The Spring School aims to engage young students with the multifaceted history of medieval Italy, and to draw their attention to the many opportunities for academic work in Rome. Specialists from the DHI and members of the Institute's Academic Advisory Board will use selected materials to introduce students to fundamental aspects of Italian history, stimulate their interest in unanswered questions and teach them skills needed to analyse sources. The programme also includes a visit to a Roman archive and the Lateran complex.
Excellent German language skills are essential for participation.
